This is a pre-wired pickguard designed to the specs of the famous Fender Lone Star guitar. The Fender Lone Star setup is now available only on Mexico made strats, but our pre-wired pickguard will sound better because is made of USA parts (the Mexico made Lone Star does not use genuine Fender Custom Shop pickups, but we do).
Don't confuse these pickups with the non-Custom Shop Texas Special floating on Ebay sold for cheaper. There are two different versions. Yes, Fender does make non-Custom Shop Texas Special pickups in their regular factories and those came without the Custom Shop label on the back (used in their Mexico made Lone Star strats). Make sure you get the those with the Custom Shop sticker on the back to ensure the highest quality in tone and craftsmanship.
Up for sale is a brand new pre-wired pickguard with two Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups in the neck and middle (both with Custom Shop sticker on the back) and one Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge position. Everything comes with the pickguard is brand new never used. The original packaging for the pickups, switch, CTS pots will be included.
The color is pearl white (including pickguard, pickups covers and knobs). It looks very beautiful!
This pickguard will fit almost all Fender style strat body with 11 holes.
